Fanny Howe and Martha Ronk reading at the Blacksmith House

Former Ploughshares guest-editor Fanny Howe (Vol. 2/1, Spring 1974) and Ploughshares contributor Martha Ronk will be reading from their work on December 7th at the Blacksmith House.

Fanny Howe is the author of over twenty books of poetry and prose. She is the recipient of several literary awards, including the Griffin Poetry Prize, Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize, and the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize.

Though primarily a poet, Martha Ronk has also worked in fiction and memoir. She is the author of six books and two chapbooks, and her work has appeared in various publications. She is the recipient of several awards, including the 2006 National Poetry Series and the PEN USA award in poetry.

The Blacksmith House is located at 56 Brattle Street at Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. The reading will begin at 8pm.
