Ali Shapiro is a recent graduate of the MFA program in poetry at the University of Michigan, where she sometimes teaches composition and creative writing. Her poems and comics have been published in RATTLE, Redivider, Linebreak, PANK, Cutbank, Hobart and The Rumpus. She's the recipient of a Thomas J.
